About Our Organization
We are a passionate group of Japanese culture enthusiasts, with additional inspiration drawn from East Asian and Pacific cultures, who bring our love of history to life through LARP events, reenactments, and immersive roleplay. Everything we do is rooted in cultural appreciation and respect.
Our group focuses on impressions inspired by The Age of the Samurai (1185 to 1868), and this time period guides all cultural representations within the group. We welcome and encourage fantasy elements, such as an elvish samurai or dwarven monks, they must align with the spirit and aesthetics of the cultures we represent. Western-style kits are not permitted, as we aim to maintain a cohesive thematic experience.
We are an inclusive and welcoming community. Any member may portray any type of character, regardless of gender. We have zero tolerance for racism, cultural defamation, or discriminatory behavior of any kind. Our goal is to create a space where members and those around us feel transported to a rich, respectful world rooted in historical inspiration.

If you want to become a full member, select your roleplay focus and a Major Clan. The clan’s Daimyo will sponsor you and help guide your journey to membership.
Step 4: Prepare your impression.
Your Daimyo and clanmates will help you find resources and develop your character. Once you have a complete outfit/kit, submit a photo of yourself in character to your Daimyo. After it's approved, you're a member!

At Drachenfest US, you’ll be initiated through an in-character roleplay event. Afterward, if you choose to continue, you’ll pay a membership fee starting year two.
